Our staff is on duty 365 days a year and provides high-quality care to make your pet feel at home while you are away. Whether you are out of town for a few days on business or you are going away on vacation, we are here to deliver individualized care to your furry best friend. We offer a wide range of boarding options to suit your needs and even have designated areas for our guests to ensure that there’s an area that’s perfect for every personality.
We are happy to administer oral or topical medications or supplements to your pets! Medication must be in the original prescribed container with the prescription label adhered.
Please bring enough food for the duration of your pet's boarding stay. You must provide individual prepackaged containers or Ziplock bags with your pet’s name and food measured by meal or a meal packaging fee of $3 per day (max of $15 per boarding stay) will be applied to your pet’s invoice. Canned food and meal toppers are accepted in their original container, but must be labeled with your pet's name.
Wescott Acres Luxury Pet Resort provides loving hotel-style boarding for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. We have several different boarding areas, including our signature Suites, The Cottage (a building for pets weighing under 15 pounds) and The Luxury Kennels & Cottages (which is our main facility for pets who enjoy activity and socialization).
Our Suites are private hotel rooms for dogs, and they feature a wide range of amenities. Most rooms are 8’ x 10’ and include flat-screen TVs playing movies, lamps, rugs, etc. Each room is carefully designed to remind your pet of home.
The Luxury Kennels & Cottages are where most of our guests stay. They’re spacious, cheerful, and bright and feature natural skylights and soft walls. There are sliding-glass doors that provide stunning views of our horse pasture or pond. On nice days, we can even open the doors and turn up the fan to allow a nice breeze to enter. There are three size options for our Luxury Kennels & Cottages - 6’ x 6’, 6’ x 4’, and 6’ x 3’, and each is designed with your pet’s safety and comfort in mind.
The Cottage is a private area for small pets. Each room is roughly 2’ x 2.5’ and ideal for pets weighing 15 pounds and under. Cottage guests even have access to their own outside playground with 6’ tall fencing.
Whichever accommodation you choose, your dog will receive plenty of love and one-on-one care in your absence. From frequent exercise time to special pampering in the form of treats, we’ll make sure your pet feels right at home.
We require all of our guests to be in good general health and up to date on their Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines. Please bring their records with you when you check your pet in or ask your vet to email them to info@wescottacres.com. All guests over the age of 6 months old must also be spayed or neutered. All guests must also pass a a First Day at our facility before coming to board with us at same price as a full day of daycare .
Our team will dispense medication as needed, but please remember - we are not a veterinary office with trained medical staff. If your pet has serious health issues, we may not be the best choice for your boarding needs.
